CLEANING HAZARDOUS MEDICATION CART

PPE Required:
  • Chemotherapy gown
  • 2 pairs of XT Nitrile powder free non-sterile exam gloves​ (chemotherapy gloves which have been ASTM D6978 tested)
1) Wipe Hazardous Medication Cart with HD Clean Wipe 1, wipe the cart with horizontal, overlapping strokes, and repeat using HD Clean Wipe 2. Repeat this procedure for each 2 ft. x 4 ft. area wiped. Do NOT REUSE THE TOWELETTES.
2) Discard HD Clean Wipes and PPE in the chemotherapy waste container in the IV Ante Room.
